Job Description
THIS POSTING IS FOR A CONTACT POSITION WITH A THIRD PARTY. THIS IS NOT A DIRECT POSITION WITH DEMATIC.
Under limited supervision, operates a variety of equipment to assemble parts as specified by simple work of picking material for orders, drawings, or blueprints and light prep of conveyor equipment to include assisting in all warehouse operations when needed.
General Requirements
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Verifies accurate and complete parts needed for assembly according to the Bill of Material (BOM).
Determines sequence of operation, understanding components and end product.
Assembles parts as specified by simple work orders, drawings, or blueprints.
Operates a variety of hand tools and mechanical equipment routinely to assemble parts according to specifications of work order.
Checks completed work for conformance to specifications - filling out check sheets noting any BOM or routing errors, including time changes. May rework part, if feasible.
Adheres to all safety requirements.
Keeps equipment in safe operating condition.
Maintains a clean and organized work area at all times.
