CNC Maintenance Technician

Job Description Key Responsibilities and Priorities:
The CNC Maintenance Technician supports the production, quality, cost, and safety goals of the manufacturing operation.
This position is responsible for preventive maintenance, process and equipment improvements and effective troubleshooting.
These responsibilities include:
Troubleshoot, modify, maintain, and/or repair programmable logic controllers, CNC machines, variable frequency drives, servo controls and other electronic equipment.
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical equipment, electric and machine components, and systems.
(Involving circuits, relay logic, wiring, motors, servo drives, etc.
) Perform basic administrative skills including documentation of work performed by written/electronic methods.
Ability to problem solve and continuously improve safety, quality, and productivity.
Perform predictive, preventative, corrective and routine maintenance on production equipment.
Assemble and install electrical, electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
Calibrate process control equipment and instrumentation.
Install piping, conduit, and raceway systems.
Perform facilities and building maintenance Position Consults with:
Operations, Quality and EngineeringKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge Demonstrated success in troubleshooting and problem-solving Technical knowledge and skills in the following areas:
PLC's/Industrial Controls, Computers & Information Technology, Hydraulic/Pneumatic, Motion/Motor Control, Welding, Machining, Servos, and Pumps.
Available to work overtime, holidays, weekends, and shutdowns if necessary.
Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, mechanical / electrical schematics, and other specifications to determine repair method for failed components.
Strong written and verbal communications skills Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently Self-motivated and results drivenSalary:
$17 per hour.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
