Technical Sales Lead

Our client is a leading manufacturer whose American headquarters are based in Northern Kentucky serving companies in the automotive, hydraulics and pneumatics industries. They are looking for a Technical Sales Lead to partner with the President on all aspects of the sales cycle.
This position is mainly focused on inside sales (phone/email), but some travel to customer sites will occasionally be required, primarily in the Midwest. This is a full-time, direct hire position with a base salary plus commission model.
Main Job
Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of the sales cycle, including acquiring new customers, growing business with existing clients, and handling leads.
Promote company products (standard and custom).
Execute advertising efforts to obtain new customers and draft customer oriented, professional marketing material.
Prepare and submit customer proposals and handle follow up efforts.
Monitor orders, payments, delivery times, etc. Prepare purchase orders and review contracts.
Perform other sales duties as needed by the President.
Required Skills:
3
years of technical sales experience. Industry experience in precision manufacturing or automotive supply helpful, but not required.
Technical aptitude. Updates and maintains CRM.
Ability to maintain records and filing systems.
Strong Competency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
